The Great Base Technical Assessment provides a visual record of the player’s current ability to execute the seven basic tennis strokes in various situations. The video is professionally edited and analyzed, then delivered to the participant via a private video link. A technical assessment is required for all juniors in the Junior Development program. Pay your USTA League Dues here! $20 per player, per team, per season. Player’s Card holders are exempt.

A Player Card is a seasonal or annual pass that enables the cardholder to reserve outdoor courts at no charge up to five (5) days in advance, to hold a Permanent Court Time (PCT), and Player Card holders pay no additional USTA Adult League Team court or facility fees.

Tennis Memphis offers a comprehensive Junior Development Program that includes all levels and ages from 4-18. Junior Development is taught using The Great Base Tennis Curriculum, a “system of systems” developed by Tennis Memphis’ Consulting Director of Player Development and Tennis Education, Steve Smith. The Great Base Tennis Curriculum emphasizes building a strong technical foundation, character development and life skills training.
