No refunds will be given. \nThe FSF tennis mixer is a round robin format where each team of two rotates against other teams in the same flight. Prizes will be given for the winners of each flight. Check-in begins at 5 p.m. and match play starts at 5:30. D. Morgan\, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is the governing body of college tennis\, overseeing men’s and women’s varsity tennis at all levels – NCAA Divisions I\, II and III\, NAIA and Junior/Community College. Officially incorporated in 1978 as the Intercollegiate Tennis Coaches Association (ITCA)\, for over the past four decades the ITA has worked hard to achieve its charter goals: (1) “To foster and encourage the playing of intercollegiate tennis in accordance with the highest tradition of sportsmanship and consistent with the general objectives of higher education.” (2) “To develop among the intercollegiate coaches a deeper sense of responsibility in teaching\, promoting\, maintaining\, and conducting the game of tennis.” And\, (3) “To educate and serve those individuals and groups who are involved in collegiate tennis: junior and college players\, their coaches and parents\, and the at-large tennis public.”

DESCRIPTION:​The USTA Foundation NJTL Essay Contest is held every year at National Junior Tennis and Learning Campuses across America and is open to students 18 and under who have participated in NJTL programming. \nThe NJTL Girls Program is a pilot program we are running in conjunction with USTA to help keep girls in sports. This 6 week class will take a dive into the obstacles that female\, teenage athletes face and how to be better prepared to handle them. We are holding the program on Fridays in the classroom at Leftwich from 5-6pm and the girls will have indoor court time afterwards. \nPlaying every Friday 5-6pm \nJan 21st through Mar 7th \nMarissa Kovach is leading the program. \nmkovach@tennismemphis.org

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 23\, 2024 at 10AM \nBring the entire family out for a day of fun\, floats\, dancers and of course…the bands! \nWelcome \nThe Memphis Christmas Parade in Whitehaven route begins at Southland Mall at Elvis Presley Blvd. and Shelby Dr. in Memphis\, TN and proceeds down Elvis Presley Blvd. and ends at Laudeen Drive (just past Piccadilly in Whitehaven Plaza). \nThe Memphis Christmas Parade in Whitehaven (formerly called the Holiday Festival Parade) started in 1998 and is  sponsored by the Academy for Youth Empowerment under the direction of Hazel Moore.  This event is one of several outreach initiatives held by the Academy.
